DECORATIVE WARE

I produce individual decorative ware of tall vases, bottles and bowls in a variety of shapes and sizes, and particularly specialize in finely thrown bowls. These are exhibited and sold at shops and galleries throughout the UK.

I am particularly concerned with shape, and proportion, and the contrast and overlap of colours and textures inspired by the natural landscape.

The decorative work is made either in porcelain or a smooth white stoneware clay which both have excellent colour definition, and fired to 1260°C in an electric kiln at the studio.
